시상식에는 박명하 서울시의사회장, 유한양행 조욱제 사장 등이 참석했다.
제55회 유한의학상 대상은 최의근 교수(서울대학교 의과대학 내과학교실 교수), 우수상에는 김송철 교수(울산의대 서울아산병원 외과학교실)와 이형진 임상 조교수(연세대학교 의과대학 영상의학교실)가 각각 수상의 영예를 안았다.
대상 수상자인 최의근 교수는 ‘Lower risk of stroke after alcohol abstinence in patients with incident atrial fibrillation: a nationwide population-based cohort study'로, 우수상 김송철 교수는 ‘Tumour-derived Dilp8/INSL3 induces cancer anorexia by regulating feeding neuropeptides via Lgr3/8 in the brain’로, 또한 이형진 임상 조교수는 ‘Gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI of macrotrabecular-massive hepatocellular carcinoma and its prognostic implications’로 성과를 인정 받았다.
유한의학상은 대상수상자에게는 5,000만원, 우수상 수상자에게는 각각 1,500만원의 상금이 수여된다.
